We are a part of an organization called HopeKids. HopeKids has been a wonderful part of our lives since Ben got sick. Their purpose is to provide kids with potentially life-threatening illnesses with ongoing actives to give them something to look forward to - something to hope for. They are a wonderful support community for the whole family, and especially for these very special children. "There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as the expectation of something tomorrow," - Orison Swett Marden. We are so grateful for all HopeKids has given Ben and our entire family. Because of the economy, HopeKids doesn't have the funding they need, so we are walking as Team Ben in a fundraiser for Hopekids so they can continue to give support and hope to all the children in the Salt Lake area who need it so much.
