Fourth chemo treatment

We spent much of last week at the hospital getting tests preparing for Ben's next chemo treatment. Chemotherapy can cause hearing loss, so he has frequent hearing checks. So far so good in that corner. He also had another MRI to make sure none of the tumor is growing back, and everything looks good there, too, for which we are very grateful.

Ben just got back yesterday from having his fourth of nine chemo treatments. It was one of the tough ones, and he spent a lot of the night throwing up and feeling sick. He doesn't feel well again today. With this treatment that he has, it is a good week before he even starts feeling better again, and two weeks before he really feels okay. We're keeping him on a constant anti-nausea regimen to help him do a little better.
